The state of the electricity supply where I was staying in Kyiv. First, voltage sag before power failed in a (fairly common) unscheduled blackout: ...and a less common failure mode, over voltage: That's from a very well insulated modern building, so it stays pretty warm even with power (and heat) off most of the day. Overall in Ukraine every single large thermal power plant has been damaged or destroyed by Russian attacks. One of the few exceptions is the three nuclear plants in unoccupied Ukraine. But Ukrainian intelligence thinks Russia is preparing to bomb them as well. Most likely non-nuclear infrastructure on the sites (Russia has already attacked transformers next to nuclear plants). But hey, Russia was willing to bomb the Chernobyl containment so who knows. Killing Russians makes the world a better place. They're just psychopaths.

The new Australian "anti-hate" legislation: image For the record, as a dual Canadian/Australian citizen I'm superior to those who are 100% Australian because I'm only 1/2 fascist Aussie cuck.

Good read. Unfortunately there's a high chance the anti-regime Iranians are going to lose this due to lack of weapons. The 2nd amendment is vital to have a free society. View quoted note β†’

I've onboarded a lot of people with Phoenix. So far I've never had anyone complain about the fees. Spending a few dollars to create your wallet the first time doesn't seem to bother people. Lots of financial services charge registration fees. View quoted note β†’

Ukrainian ad for a kids chair that converts to a bed. The bottom right says β€œin the corridor”. Because during raid raids if you don't go to a shelter, the advice is to sleep in a corridor or bathroom so you at least have two solid walls between you and a Russian attack. image Last time I was in Eastern Ukraine one night the shahed attacks seemed particularly close. So I put on a bulletproof vest, closed the blinds, and went back to sleep. I needed that chair. πŸ˜‚
