Do you know Domenico Ghirlandaio or Bertoldo di Giovanni? Two of the people who taught and inspired Michelangelo. In the past, creative work fueled other people’s creativity, today it trains AI and feeds the slop image
I was just reading about Rome, and it got me thinking about how the Roman Empire subjugated millions of people with its Roman legions wielding just a handful of weapons any person could make or handle. Today, the state is a monstrous entity holding an obscene amount of power, weapons, and wealth far beyond the reaches of any population around the world—no wonder why dissent, protest, and legality have become so inconsequential. image

History is both a weapon of indoctrination against the rebellious population, and a weapon of rationality and truth against the oppression of the ruling millionaires. A 2020 survey by the American Historical Association found that most Americans say history matters but engage casually via news, documentaries, and tv shows; some of the most biased sources. All in all, history has been more effective as a weapon of indoctrination… image

Fuck yourself, what we need is to stop the fucking invasions View quoted note →
Day sixteen, over 16. Many live in a constant display of power, harshness, toughness, slickness, and wittiness; many more falter in the face of death
Day fifteen, over 15 In the face of death, there is the abyss and the ascension; one of these you have courted all your life and nothing will rip you from its firm grip
Day nine, over… a few more weeks to go. The best death is that which releases you both from life and death—unfettered, unshackled.
Day eight, over No sadness or negative emotions, no attachment whatsoever; in death you do not need that, in death you do not want that.
Day four, over In the unfathomable journey through death, there is no room for even the bleakest of mistakes.
Day three, over. There's a bit of forgetfulness in living that makes you be distracted from your own impending death.
Day two, over. You’re nearing the end of your life and you’re still dabbling in perversion.
