In my irl communities, I am often the ONLY one who talks about tech and privacy as if it matters. Nobody gives a fuck, and even if they are interested in the topic, they don’t give a fuck about their personal digital privacy. 🤨

Many of our fears around kids and “addiction” require a total reframing of the way we seek and engage with pleasure. Just like using drugs to mask a problem, using social media as a way to garner self-esteem, or to compare and contrast your self-worth to others is NOT HEALTHY. I’d love to see this discussion continue. It’s the end of my day, what have I done today? I am building my bodywork business site. I’m not a #dev, so even making a website has taken me far longer than it should. I’m trying to self host and receive direct payments for online content. But even building payment rails and scheduling systems that respect mine, and my clients’ privacy is a constant concern, and holds me back from a lot of the “easy” platforms, that take high fees and have zero privacy. I’m confidant that it will become easy and accessible enough for #nostr, #bitcoin and #sovereignpayments to make their way to everyday businesses. I will eventually share my work and what I do, but I am still not ready for the melding of identities. We shall see what the future holds. Thanks to anyone interested. GN!
