#nostr is just the way. I know it. I feel it. I’m holding steady for the long run. I know so many of you are doing the same. I see you. I feel the connections on Nostr as so much deeper than any other digital life I’ve ever experienced. I’m not here everyday. No matter what the medium, sometimes it’s too much social, period. I focus on my family, I focus on myself and my work, and I focus on the things and people in my life that bring me joy and genuine good feelings. Most other things and people that drag me down, I tell to fuck off, and send them packing with love. It’s a harsh defense mechanism to protect my own energy, but it’s vital. I’m tired of hiding from other peoples’ sensitivities, and letting myself be less because of someone else’s fears. I’ve done a lot of that, and repressed a lot of what I really believe and feel to fit in to relationships and social circles who insist “being nice” is far better than being honest. Don’t be Nice. Be Free. Don’t hold yourself back on account of anybody. And if you do it all with love, not fear, the right way will come. I can only speak from experience, as I do the work myself, and this glorious life continues to unfold around me, despite the clutter and the chaos. I’m Free. ✌🏼🧡🏴‍☠️

#GM folks. I miss you guys. I’ve not had much to report lately. Just enjoying the good things in life, and trying to cope with the parts that are not as ideal. For example, the rains have returned to the #PNW where I live, and I have been compelled to have to put socks on to go outside. 😔 Watching the geese fly south, I lament; “Take me with you!” I wasn’t built to be this far from the equator. 🥵🥶

I just watched Demon Slayer Infinity Castle with two 12 year old boys. 😵😵🥴🫨 What a MINDFUCK of a movie! I’m not ready for words. We went on a long walk to vent and process… We are all sitting around numb from the wild psychedelic multi-dimensional ride we just got taken on. I, for one, post things here intentionally that I like to be able look back on. It’s a journal, of sorts, and I enjoy going back and seeing the evolution. Today is a day for reflecting on and recycling old content as a reminder that the thread is still there. The truth still pulls through.

How yas doing!? When you savor the moments each day feels like a full lifetime. I had a great weekend with the #kids. We played, we laughed, we ate, we layed around. Life is good. Raising kids is even better. It’s the single most life-force grounding and future-focused thing anyone could ever imagine. They don’t have to be yours, but get some kids in your life! 🙌🏼🧡✌🏼

#nostratnite, late night work sesh over here. I love technology, but the closer it can get me back to pen and paper, the better. I get lost in screens. I miss fanning through pages of content. I want that in a digital experience. So far it’s just been this iPad/Pencil combo that’s got me.
