I believe one logical onboarding path for Bitcoin could be through gaming, utilising the Lightning Network. Imagine this scenario: An independent game studio raises funds, say $1 million, through a platform like Kickstarter to develop a game. They allocate 10% of that amount -$100,000 to be held in Bitcoin over the game’s lifecycle. In this game, players earn sats as part of the in-game point or scoring system. When you purchase the game, you receive a Lightning wallet and start earning sats based on your gameplay performance. This concept could be incredibly compelling, especially as Bitcoin continues to appreciate in value. Picture players engaging with a 10-year-old game in 2035, where, thanks to the developers’ foresight in allocating $100,000 worth of Bitcoin in 2025 for distribution, players from different parts of the globe are now earning a significant amount, possibly even more than their actual employment by playing a game they might enjoy. The developers might adjust the game’s purchase price, as players could be willing to pay more due to its remarkable earning potential and they could put these proceeds towards producing their next title. The possibilities are endless! Honestly, it’s thrilling to think about ideas like this. I wish I had the skills to develop something like this myself.

Charlie Munger once said, 'Show me the incentive and I'll show you the outcome'. It seemed to work out pretty well for him. The pharmaceutical industry is not incentivised to make you healthy; they make more money if they can keep you sick. The government is not incentivised to prioritise your freedoms; rather, it is incentivised to restrict them in ways that maintain power and control. One of the most ingenious aspects of Bitcoin is that it harnesses people's incentives to make the network more secure and valuable. Miners are rewarded for contributing computational power, strengthening the system, while developers and users are incentivised to propose and adopt valuable improvements, driving Bitcoin's evolution and resilience. As the network becomes more valuable and secure, more people are incentivised to protect and grow it, creating a powerful feedback loop.

If people knew Bitcoin's exact fiat value in a decade, they'd sell everything, even their kidneys, to stack more. But it's really about the bigger picture, the implications for the world; the money's just a nice bonus.

For a country built by convicts, I would have thought freedom would be significant and meaningful in Australian culture. It seems to be the exact opposite. I'd love to see this improve.
