Went to check out a new to me nostr client today, Nostrmo. It has a "Terms of user." I thought that was odd for a nostr app so I actually opened it and read it. ... Reading the fine print is something I only really started doing in my post-Bitcoin life. It reads like a centralized service terms of use with explicitly listed restrictions on free speech. But here's the punch line... It's "FOSS"--GPL 3.0. Mixed signals. FREEDOM Open Source Software or die.
