Bitcoin increased my connection to faith thanks to some of the most faith-committed peers I've met through my local meetup. It's hard to find younger folks in the pews at our tiny, rural church. Our family is the youngest by 10 years and that next closest family is disconnected from the next closest family older than them by an entire generation. I'm fairly confident that we're looking at the last hoorah of our congregation. This doesn't surprise me. One of the ethos of Bitcoin that I connect with is the destruction of institutions. I believe that must extend to faith based institutions, specifically those more engrossed in their institutional activities and less focused on the teachings of Jesus that ought to be guiding them. I feel like I'm in a unique position, but not just financially due to Bitcoin. Agriculturally, nearly every faith institution has failed by not fervently speaking out against the adoption of chemical, industrial agricultural practices. Practices that have destroyed rural communities and caused widespread health epidemics. The destruction of rural congregations and growth of industrial, chemical agriculture are certainly related. There is no doubt. The younger generations don't want to carry on the faults of the older generations. The evidence is all around us with disease, cancers, and obesity. But fear not, the youth have a yearning to grow and connect and start a revolution. This revolution starts at individual churches everywhere. I've started by expressing these feelings to a prominent member of my community who also is a member of my congregation--an industrial agriculturalist (I've done this with three such individuals to date, two of which are quite well known in the county). I don't expect change from a generation with one foot out the door. While that older generation dies off, focusing on the next generation is the most important aspect to meaningfully move the needle on bitcoin's future. Regenerative agriculture, renewed focus on faith, and the financial revolution will all merge to become a superpower of change for the betterment of humanity. The world may be dark and stormy, but never cease to shine your light.

Unpopular opinion: I think the hurricane scale we all know is going to change and they'll define a class 6 hurricane within the next few decades. Same with tornadoes. Earth's weather is directly impacted by the sun. Earth's magnetic field is weakening. The AMOC could be collapsing. Severe weather has the potential to get significantly worse. View quoted note →

Our sun just released a low grade X class flare (equivalent to a category 5 hurricane by scale), but the sunspot that was the source is just starting to turn in towards Earth so we should only see a glancing blow. It should be an interesting week in solar activity as it starts to directly face Earth in the days ahead.

Andrew Jackson on a Federal Reserve Note is all the corruption and evidence you need to know the Federal Reserve is full of and backed by criminals.

Doesn't matter what the renewed MH370 search finds; I won't trust it.

Our church has been without a dedicated pastor for over a year now. The guest pastor today had a heck of a message about the second coming of Christ, intermingling one world government, one global financial system, and even danced around pole shift. It was riveting. First time in my life I approached a pastor about the message after service and had a conversation. Hoping to connect more in the months ahead.

This is something I have in common with vegans. Industrial food production is anti-Christian. God created man to have dominion over his creation, but the negative externalities and tragedy of the commons that industrial food production plays in our environment and our health is done so with spite and greed and must be stopped. Livestock should be raised in alignment with God's creation, fulfilling the role that animal was created to serve in their ecosystem under the management of a watchful and caring caretaker. I signal my support for consensus towards a soft fork implementation of the Bitcoin protocol that incorporates a privacy first approach to transactions. View quoted note →

How I spend my Bitcoin is none of your business. Services like these, trying to create the Bitcoin social credit score, highlight everything wrong with Bitcoin in 2026. Private zapping and privacy on-chain must become the norm. We shouldn't have to jump through hoops to operate privately. Start by normalizing private zaps. image
