On point 3) the wisdom of DC is usually right about *politics*. And the question was a political one, not a policy one. Trump was one they got wrong but those outliers are rare. And if they aren’t, they why is everyone so upset about being ruled by political elites? Just run your own guy or gal and win. Should be easy if they are so often wrong. But the fact is, when you have near political consensus among the political class, they usually are *not* wrong. View quoted note →

An attractive woman recently moved in across the hall. But I had a plan to make a great impression and get her number all at the same time. Perfectly executed if I do say so myself. image

Honestly, the cult-like fervor is probably needed if we want #Bitcoin hit terminal velocity for adoption. image View quoted note →

I have a more nuanced take on this. I think what the SEC & lawmakers are doing here is despicable. They adamantly refused to pass regulations or laws that centralized or more centralized crypto projects could meet. They also didn’t pass regulations or laws requiring disclosure of information that would make total sense for those projects but not traditional securities. I may think the projects are dumb, but if they aren’t a fraud or a scam, I think the market should figure that out & not force them out via old laws that make zero sense for the current times. With that being said, this *is* why you want true decentralization. Because then they can’t stop it or regulate it out of existence even if they want to. View quoted note →

But is an alien invasion good for #Bitcoin  or bad for Bitcoin?
