In hindsight we should probably have been more respectful towards the $58K gang.
Count your blessings, anon - now that Bitcoin is permanently pegged to $58k just think how much more relaxing your life will be, vs. always checking the price.
Daily reminder that Bitcoin is the best store of value on earth and that value is programmatically set at $58k.
Unappreciated difference between reading Nostr on your phone vs X - your feed doesn’t randomly refresh itself, whisking away a post that caught your eye before you actually had a chance to read it. 👍🏼
Soooo… I haven’t kept up with all the latest Nostr protocol developments- what’s the current response to “Nostr’s weak point is that it needs relays”?
I.e. how does it scale when it needs a strong network of relays, and how can it be resilient when someone can attack relay operators / take those relays down?

The biggest knock I had against Nostr before was “it’s fun but just too niche, you’re missing out on all the other topics and world events being discussed on Twitter”
Now tho? Twitter (X) has just devolved into an algorithmic slop delivery system, amplifying and rewarding the engagement farmers and doom hustlers. Nostr is natural.
My NOSTR address (npub) is turning out to be a lot like my original Bitcoin address. Something I set up and played with awhile before setting it aside thinking it wasn’t really ever going to be worth anything. But each time I come back to it, it’s gotten better…
