Is it silly to spend $17 on an upgraded heatsink for my #Bitaxe when I’m only mining 65 sats per day, best case? If I increase that to 75 sats per day with the new heatsink and overclocking, what is my time to ROI if the sats increase in value at an average annualized return of 43%, while the $17 decrease in value at -5% annualized? Assume zero energy cost with solar, no halving, constant mining rate, 100% uptime and no other variables. Does #nostr have spreadsheets yet? 🤔

What if #Microstrategy is secretly the US building a strategic #bitcoin reserve without alerting other nations to the fact? 🤔 Maybe that’s why @Michael Saylor has met with the administration so often and has such a huge smile? It would be a huge legacy to leave for a man who already has all of the money he needs. It’s being funded with low cost non-taxpayer debt. The bonds could essentially be paid out in bitcoin backed US treasuries at a later time through a not altogether unfair bait-and-switch (bond holders still have exposure to Bitcoin in this scenario). I don’t know anything about anything, but it’s a fun thought experiment… and it wouldn’t be the most sneaky thing the government has done…
