Myomectomy in other country may cost between 11000 USD to 22000 USD. For my wife operation, It is estimated that I will pay a ceiling of RM15,000 (3433 USD) for the operation. Even at a more expensive private hospital, the same operation would cost at max 4577 USD.
My wife have insurance, but it is still short from the maturity period by a few months. So I decided to fork out our own cash + medical loan for the operation. Of course, with out average GDP, it do cost us a fortune, but thinking about the cost in other country, I am still grateful that I can still pay for it.

for just RM2880 (about 659 USD), you can have a 2 days 1 night spontaneous vaginal delivery at an unsubsidized private centre. If you would like to get single private rooms, you just need to add RM280 per night (64 USD).
Even if you ended up with caesar, the delivery cost is about 1548 USD. Of course this is not a top notch private hospital, but it is a legit comfortable one, attended by O&G specialist doctors. This is the one my wife is having her operation.
You can literally take a flight, get delivered here, register with you embassy to obtain your nationality for confinement programs and fly back home and still it is cheaper than giving birth in some country.

Isteri gigih nak kerja semula.
Duit tak cukup.
Tapi doktor hospital tak bagi.
Memang lah. kemoterapi tak habis cycle lagi!
Di hadapan doktor, setitik air mata pun tak mengalir. Dia kuat.
