Before I share my entry, I just want to remind everyone how important it is to take care of our health. Last year, I was hospitalized because of a stomach ulcer. It was one of the most uncomfortable experiences I've ever had, and it taught me not to take my health for granted. After my check-up, my doctor prescribed Omeprazole to help reduce the acid in my stomach and allow it to heal properly.
Since then, I always take this medicine whenever my stomach starts feeling uncomfortable, especially if I accidentally eat late or miss a meal. It has become an important part of managing my stomach health, but I also know that medicine alone isn't enough. The biggest lesson I learned is that prevention is much better than treatment.
If there's one piece of advice I can share, it's this: please don't skip your meals and always try to eat on time. Many people don't realize how much damage an unhealthy eating schedule can do until they experience it themselves. A stomach ulcer isn't something that heals overnight—it takes time, discipline, and proper care.
I'm thankful that I'm doing much better now, and I hope my experience encourages others to take their health seriously before it becomes a bigger problem. Listen to your body, maintain healthy eating habits, and don't ignore persistent stomach pain. If your symptoms continue or get worse, it's always best to consult a healthcare professional instead of self-medicating.
This is my entry for the Medicine Receipt activity. Wishing everyone good health, and I hope we all make taking care of ourselves a daily priority. 💊❤️ #MedicineForHope @princessbellle✨and @Maeb as well @Prime Architect @Butterfly @wicked soul
