This has happened a number of times over this current high-fee period, and is an interesting bit if information that in theory fees alone can sustain the network.
Another fun tidbit. Block 788806 (12.70 BTC fees + subsidy) gave the miner more bitcoin than Block 600000 (12.538BTC) more than 3.5 years ago (which was before the last halvening)
