The Americano got its name during World War II. American soldiers stationed in Italy found espresso too strong. So they started diluting it with hot water. Italian baristas saw this, realized that the Americans were not so strong at all, and playfully dubbed the new type of coffee “Americano”. Today my wife and I made homemade walnut cookies. It was quite tasty and I started experimenting. In part of the dough I added cinnamon and Indian spices, in the other part I kneaded a naughty Bad Baby sauce (with glitter, watermelon, strawberries and hot pepper). The result surprised me and the main thing is that the recipe doesn't take much time, so I think I'm not going to stop there and try some more daring flavor combinations :) #foodstr

Good old heavy rock. I grew up on classic rock and records by Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Dio, Pink Floyd and so on, and in the noughties I was into alternative, and today I've been listening to Audioslave all day, in which members of Rage Against the Machine and Pearl Jam deconstruct the sound of the 70s. Great album “Out of Exile” and another guitar masterpiece by Tom Morello. Bloody genius! #tunestr #music
