Gm team #lift #nostr Sometimes technicians are their own worst enemies. What you see here is an aerial terminal where the brass binding post broke out of the plastic housing. So the previous tech was too lazy to make an extra trip up and down the ladder so just stripped and twisted the wires. Months later the customer is complaining of an an ongoing static issue and this is what I find. SMH

Gm team This a testament to old tech, what you see here is a binding post interface (BPI) this particular one is original to when the telephone exchange was installed in this remote community the steel and solid brass connections are still superior to the modern plastic punch down interphases used today.
