I’m going to post this again because I think it’s important. If you’re going to absorb some information today, absorb something of great value.
Let us not forget what the Federal Reserve is. It is a collection of 12 private banks…each structured as a corporation, enacted and controlled by a collection of private bankers, to loan money to the government at interest. Government debts…your public debts…are debts to the banking class.
“Spreading democracy” is a euphemism for enacting foreign governments that are complicit with US foreign policy interests.
When every country in the world considers you to be the greatest risk to world peace, you probably are.
In the mind of an addict, there exists a universe where gambling coexists with wealth and love and happiness.
Shun debt and speculation, as well as any financial system that encourages such behavior at the expense of a peaceful and sustainable existence
“Had I the ability, and could I reach the nation’s ear, I would today pour out a fiery stream of biting ridicule, blasting reproach, withering sarcasm, and stern rebuke. For it is not light that is needed, but fire; it is not the gentle shower, but thunder. We need the storm, the whirlwind, and the earthquake.”

The lifelong drive to accumulate capital is antithetical to the traditional life goals of a mankind whose basic needs could be met by the earth. Culture, art, song, storytelling, learning…are the appropriate drivers of society
I used to spray the weeds. Then I read Carson’s “Silent Spring”. Now I embrace the haphazard look of a biodiverse, creature-friendly lawn
Would a free-roaming goat be a reasonable alternative to a lawnmower?
A flourishing society requires that people be working for themselves and not for their rentier overlords.
Releasing the people from slavery is half the battle. Release from debt servitude is the the real battle to overcome.
Hey billionaire class…
We saw you snap your fingers and create 2 billion in PPP loan forgiveness. And we saw the Supreme Court shoot down student loans forgiveness yesterday.
The difference? Socialism for the rich…capitalism for the poor
Bank bailouts do not stabilize the economy as billionaires would have us believe. They shift liabilities onto taxpayers. The financial class who yell “free market” are precisely those who designed a legal system that protects the rich at the expense of the poor.
To focus my attention on the weird things that powerless people choose to do to themselves… distracts me from the damaging things that powerful people attempt to do to me.
It’s my job to maximize the value of my own time. If I only use it for purposes that maximize financial returns, then I am trading the way that I value my time for the way that others value my time.
When did we accept that the only way to use our time is to maximize the remuneration for it?
To pass off child care just because “I can make more working,” or to have someone mow because, “I could make more elsewhere” denies that a well-rounded expertise is valuable in itself, or that your participation with an activity brings value to it. Maximization of returns at the cost of all else is a neoclassical economist’s wet dream that has slithered its way into the common sense of every home.
