My 9-year-old daughter was really excited about the 3 #Oddmire books we got as a family gift for #Christmas. We don't do Santa Claus (except just as a fun "game" that our kids have always known was a game), but the card on this book series said it was from "Father Christmas". My daughter asked who got them for us, so I said, "Father Christmas did." "Who's that?" she asked. "You know," I said. "Some people call him 'Santa Claus'." She looked at me skeptically. "No, really, Daddy. Who are the books from? I want to thank them!" I shrugged my shoulders. "They're just from Father Christmas! That means they're not from anyone specifically, but just from the spirit of Christmas, itself." Her face: 🤨 "Well..." I thought for a moment. "Just consider them as being from Satoshi." My wife is having Braxton Hicks contractions every 10 minutes, on average (sometimes 5 minutes apart, sometimes 15 minutes apart). My son is embodying #Bitcoin already. I'm so proud. 🥹
