Is there a list somewhere of Nostr apps for iOS, or an app like Fedi (but not Fedi itself, since you can't import your nsec into it) or Spring, which gives you access to Nostr apps within it, but for iOS? #AskNostr #NotAniPhoneUser
Calling all #Nostriches! I'm working on the very first book about Nostr, so I thought I'd #AskNostr and get your input. I've gathered a list of over 40 of the most common questions that newcomers usually ask about Nostr, and which are the most important for them to know, but now they need to be narrowed down. Follow the link below, and in each category, select the most important and frequently asked questions by new Nostr users. Try to choose a total of 10-20 questions. And if you think of any that aren't on my list yet, add them in the comment boxes on the second page. Let's create the ultimate guide to Nostr!
What are the most common questions/concerns/FUD you've gotten about Nostr from newbies who haven't been purple pilled yet? ๐ŸŸฃ And not just basic ones, like "What is Nostr?". I'll zap 1000 sats to all my favorite questions. โšก
My 7-month-old son met his great-grandmother earlier today, for the first and almost certainly the last time. image This picture hits me really hard. Not only is it capturing a beautiful moment that he will never remember, but it's also a perfect representation of the past and future gazing at each other. "What will he do with his life after I'm gone?" she may be wondering. "What experiences have you had over the last 8+ decades?" he might ask if he knew how. Moments like this should give us perspective. Each and every one of you reading this have been the age of my son, and each and every one of us will one day depart this life, hopefully at a ripe old age, like my grandmother-in-law. What will we do in between? That's the question we need to ask ourselves. And we should answer it every day with our actions, so that when our time comes to pass the torch to the rising generation, we can do it with peace in our hearts, clarity in our minds, and filled with hope for the future for our loved ones we'll leave behind. ๐Ÿฅน
Nocoiners then: "The government will ban #Bitcoin." Nocoiners now: "If the government's creating a strategic bitcoin reserve, then I want nothing to do with it!" Some will choose to literally die on the hill of their own pride before accepting life and prosperity. Ignore them.
Trump said that the reason he wants to focus on #Bitcoin comes down to 2 reasons: America first. I think it's primarily for a reason that can be summed up in 2 other words: Game theory.
The FO feeling is gone. Now alI that's left is the sensation of MO. ๐Ÿ˜ฃ See you tomorrow, #Nashville! #Bitcoin2024

I'm going to #Bitcoin2024 in #Nashville, but I won't arrive until Friday morning, so I'm already feeling FOMO for all the things happening there this week before I get there. ๐Ÿ˜–

I was never ๐˜ข๐˜จ๐˜ข๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜ด๐˜ต Trump โ€” I can't say the same for Hitlery or Brandon โ€” but I've long been against most governments and political leaders. Their near-perfect track record of evil, and corruption-inducing incentives, gave me every reason to distrust them. I never strongly disagreed with Trump on his politics, either. Sure, there were/are little things we didn't/don't see eye-to-eye on, but we agree on most issues. That, along with rejecting the sham of voting, led to my refusal to vote for Trump or anyone else. But that all changed last week. No, I won't vote for Trump because he was shot at, nor simply because of the clear divine intervention in which God showed ๐˜๐˜ช๐˜ด support for Trump getting elected (though that's one of the reasons why Trump now has my support). My mind changed the instant Trump raised his fist, after getting shot in the ear, and shouted, "FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!" ๐˜›๐˜ฉ๐˜ข๐˜ต was when I saw in him that essential skill that every great leader needs to have: the ability to inspire the masses. image Before then, if you asked me to define Trump in 1 word, it would've been "smarmy". But smarmy people don't think of inspiring others when there's danger. They're all show: a walking, talking Potemkin Village that crumbles when the going gets tough ... or deadly. That's what I thought Trump was. But that was not the man who bravely went back to work after getting shot. Did Trump change? Sure; that experience would've changed anyone. But did he change from "smarmy" to "brave" in that moment? No; I only saw him correctly for the first time. It's likely that Trump changed a lot in his 1st term, but either way, my point is this: Let's get that man back in the Oval Office.
