My 9.5-month-old still wakes up frequently during the night to nurse. But sometimes he wakes up while snuggling with me, and sometimes while snuggling with my wife. In the dark, he often gets turned around and disoriented, so he tells us apart by grabbing our chins: Beard? It's me, and he starts fussing, since I can't feed him. No beard? It's his mommy, and he starts giggling with excitement and anticipation of food. GM

I was asked about my hat this morning. The guy thought it was pretty funny, but he asked, "Bitcoin's kinda irrelevant now, right? Like, it doesn't really matter, right?" I was in a hurry, so I didn't get the chance to really tell him everything I wanted to say. But what cane to my mind was that while only 1 private bank can print more dollars, and anyone can "print" more cryptocurrencies, no one can print more bitcoin; it's the only money that you can really control yourself. So as long as that's still a desirable trait, Bitcoin is still relevant. He didn't have anything to say to that, and I don't know if it made any sense to him, but I hope it'll get him to start thinking. Unfortunately, this is pretty typical for the Chattanooga area, but little by little, we can turn that around. 🧡
