What a great book "The Sovereign Individual" (by James Dale Davidson & Lord William Rees-Mogg). Reading it now and it being written in 1997 is even more fascinating.
Regarding browser addon for signing Nostr messages: Is it worth it to have a manual approval each time you have to sign something? I'm thinking of a PIN or even a password. The idea is that the private key is stored encrypted without the extension to know the encryption key. So each time you need to sign something you, the user, need to enter that encryption key. It could be in the form of a PIN or a password, which you have to enter every time. Does it make sense? is it too much? GitHub discussion here:
There has been a few updates in nos2x-fox (the Firefox add-on for signing Nostr messages, and fork of "nos2x") in the past month. Some are: - Configure your preferred relays - Allow your authorization to sites last for 5 min, 1 hour or 8 hours (with possibility of revoking) - Better display of the message you are signing - Support for both hexa and nsec/npub format for your keys - Many UI improvements and fixes Install from Firefox Add-ons page: Or check the repo and download the XPI to install by yourself:
