Day 7 of my first (and hopefully last) gout attack. Last night was miserably painful. I went down to every 6 hours with Naproxin and it barely keeps the pain at bay. Went to bed at 10 and took a delta 9 gummy, slept pretty good until 2, tossed and turned wit the stabbing pain. Came downstairs at 0300 and took another Naproxin and slept in the chair until 6. Then went back to bed and got another hour and a half. Another Naproxin at 0900. Now enjoying coffee. Elevating the foot seems to help. Also not as much redness today. Hopefully on the downslide image
Thinking about this chart... As each currency was replaced by the next, how was the new currency valued? How did they value the dollar, over the Pound Stirling? As a unit of account, the idea is to be able to quickly understand the value, as in how much labor you need to earn one unit. Correct? I'm guessing this didn't happen quickly, where they had duel currencies that competed until the consensus chose the new currency over the previous. It would be an interesting history lesson. I know in the American colonies several currencies circulated simultaneously and competed. image
