Looking for community input into the Terms of Service we're working on. Some people consider any bot account to be a "spam" account. We are looking for users' opinions on what defines a "spam" account. We did realize our current setup has our nostr account following npubs we have removed/blocked relays side due to behavior deemed as spamming. Moving forward, we plan to have a quarterly transparency report and a means of people appealing being blocked.
Any thoughts on this approach are appreciated. We want to include everyone in keeping Relayable/nostr a means of open access and free speech. So any ideas are welcome!
As always, if you wish to report an issue with an account, please DM us the pertinent details, and we'll follow up! You can DM us here or DM @jascha directly.
(thanks to #[0] for catching the issue with updating followers to match blocked accounts.)

Relayable High Availability Network Design
We're documenting and sharing our relay network design to help other relay operators improve their uptime and redundancy. Our new site will have all this documentation and any howtos on deploying the various pieces of the network and relays. Relayable will be a non-profit to ensure profits do not drive our services. Instead, we will offer services to other relay operators to manage and scale their relays (RaaS?) and provide fully managed private relays for those needing them.
We are working on an invite and validation service to keep the relay users from being Spammers/Scammers. The validation system is a work in progress, so any devs looking to help a nostr project, please reach out to us!
Since we are not a paid relay, we depend on your donations to cover costs. https://donate.relayable.org
Tomorrow we will add another round of write access users to put us over the 1000 mark! π€π«

Our current relay network streams to one another and to additional relays. By adding our relay (wss://relayable.org) you are automatically sent to the lowest latency relay based on your connection and location.

We live off of #zapathon

Our .onion #Tor hidden service #nostr #relay is ready for testing.

We are also considering adding a dedicated .onion web client.

We have followed the remaining users in queue. This week we are also adding a dedicated #nostr #Tor relay for those wanting or needing more anonymity. As well as our revised site with more documentation, roadmap, projects, and howtos.
Keep moving forward!

Happy Easter!

We have added a new round of users to allow write access. You should get a DM notification if already added our relay. We've also added a temporary status page while we create an improved internal version.
https://status.relayable.org
Reminder: by adding wss://relayable.org, you will be routed based on latency to the fastest relay to you. You can optionally add the exact relay you wish to use by adding the geo subdomain (e.g. wss://se.relayable.org would be Sweden) all relays are synced.

We're in the process of updating our relays and adding another batch of followers to write allow list. As well as adding the Sydney and Bahrain relays. Should get a DM once added to allow list.

We now have Relayable relays in US, Brazil, Sweden, and Singapore. This week we're adding Australia and Bahrain to round out our latency based routing to the fastest relay. An improved validation method is also in the works. Thanks to everyone for the support and donations!

We've added a new relay in SΓ£o Paulo, #Brazil to #Relayable.
If you use wss://relayable.org the geo relay closest to you with least latency will be used.
