# Have You Seen Our Other Free Services? ## We're not just a pretty relay network after all! - [nostr.af](https://nostr.af) - our customized version of Snort running in geographic regions as our relays. If not logged in will see our (truly) global feed. - [nostr.do](https://nostr.do) - nostr invites for faux exclusivity. Share an invite with friends and family. Will direct them to Damus or Amethyst if on mobile device. Or randomly between nostr.af, Coracle, and Primal. Helps shorten the purple pilling time to just scan QR code or go to link. - [nos.re](https://nos.re) - nostr-centric URL shorten-er supports nostr: MIME type. Can choose custom shortened URLs. Is good for long SImpleX links and others including to nostr notes and npubs. ![Relayable.org](https://cdn.nostr.build/i/5a8a0096775497739030e9c7910b165d25dab77a509effe2f6659ba23c7fea50.jpg)

Looking for real world usage feedback on the performance of https://nostr.af please let us know. We have latency based DNS for it like Relayable uses. Is in Los Angeles, Montreal, and Helsinki data centers. It is a customized Snort install. πŸ€™

# From Global Relay Network to Global Nostr Nodes ![Relayable Network](https://cdn.nostr.build/i/d0d006bef3329f1543573b0869b3554684b40949642b646d7fa738bb990662d0.png) I have just finished deploying a new bare metal server in Sydney, Australia to complete the Version 2 of the Relayable Relay Network. With lessons learned from Version 1 that has been up for the last 6+ months. When I first started this project it was to improve the architecture and design of relays to be more highly available (HA) and redundant in terms of data storage in many geographic locations. With the finalizing of Version 2 of the network many improvements have been made. ## Some include: - Faster strfry (relay software) performance - Better syncing of data across geographic regions - Better syncing of configurations and site content A big change is the move away from a singular cloud provider to a more heterogeneous model with 80% of relays not being on AWS or any cloud provider. With numerous backbone providers. The biggest change is we're leveraging our network of servers to start offering other free services to nostr users. Including the addition of a customized version of Snort in each geographic region we have a relay. This is under the domain name of [nostr.af](https://nostr.af), the web client by default has relayable's relay network if not logged in. Allowing users to see our truly global feed. Once logged in you will have your usual list of relays you currently use. Another is the addition of our SimpleX Chat servers: ``` smp://8VHoUzYaX4q8gqVuN_0ahprw1-mrpd0Ouyff0RwpsWE=@smp.nostr.af xftp://yC6U2VvP9EtYkTdbtvENiqhHazG4yQ8lZ9qDS0JKwuE=@xftp.nostr.af ``` ![nostr.af SimpleX Servers](https://cdn.nostr.build/i/9074ad3af57481c685e4aafd77748dd9a570fae32547dcd1cf126c1913b7e20f.png) We'll soon be adding our own CDN using our existing global network to help bolster nostr and help in the growth and decentralization of the network. Thanks to everyone who has donated to Relayable. You make it possible to provide these free services and keep them free and accessible to everyone!
