Here's a fun thought: Stablecoins are losing value, when measured against bitcoin.

I removed two wheelbarrow loads of thistles (a mixture of bull and Canada) from our yard today. You have to pull them up by the roots so they come back more slowly, or eventually not at all. They were irritating me as I was trying to do other yard work and then after I got started everywhere I looked I saw more and thought "well I better take that one too, before they get more energy down onto their roots and pop up in more places". Hopefully next time I go out there I can focus on the task I intended to do instead of the one that turned out to be higher priority.

Remember at the end of last year when some people were saying Trump was going to use the military against Americans on US soil and most people thought they were blowing things out of proportion? Pepperidge Farms remembers. What else were those people saying? Seems relevant now that the national guard, marines and a predator drone have all been deployed.

I aaccidentally came across a long article on decentralization from 1977. It's not about tech. From what I read so far, it's the real deal. I am impressed. Don't spoil the ending for me, I'm not emtirely through it yet.

Ripping up grass is a lot harder than jist hoeing rows in a garden, that's for sure. Those roots just don't want to budge. Plus the sod is heavy to cart away too. image Slowly but surely, I'm removing our lawn and replacing it with mulch around fruit-bearing trees, and native blueberries, black raspberries, a squash hill, and as many other things as I can fit in there. I just gotta keep on top of it and not get side tracked before I finish ripping everything up and getting the mulch in there. Otherwise it'll all grow back, and lower.

What are the nostr accounts that are building something other than Nostr, Bitcoin, or AI slop? I'm already well aware of the honey, beef jerky, and leather wallets. They're good. I want more of that and also some cool tech account to follow. #AskNostr

I feel like the Fediverse is a lot of complaining, largely with good cause, and then no meaningful action. Nostr has been where I go to see people doing interesting stuff and they might mention the problem they are solving in passing. Buy lately, my #nostr feed has been pretty boring, and wuiet too. I guess everyone is distracted by the circus, and I have enough filters I am able to tune most of that out. Then again, maybe I'm part of the problem. I've been removing sod to release it with mulch. It's just chores, so I don't post about it. Perhaps others are in a similar situation, hence the quietness? I can post pictures of the little shed I'm going to build. That'll at least be entertaining.
