The client-server model is so underrated. What I dislike most about iOS dev is the idea of a build for the frontend. It makes backwards compatibility a major development issue
My uneducated economic opinion:
If inflation is too many dollars chasing too few goods and services, then I expect inflation to continue.
Too many dollars: government spending problems, I don't see this getting better anytime soon.
Few goods and services: labor shortage + de-globalization + aging population = few goods and services
The Fed can raise rates (reduce the number of dollars) but the other side of the inflation problem is still there. Technology is our only hope. AI specifically, is probably the most deflationary tool. Bitcoin also. HODL
I want to try Android (probably Pixel, BUT
1) My 2018 iPhone XS is still working so well, how could I not buy another iPhone?
2) For some random reason, I feel that Apple's services are less invasive than Google. FWIW
My personal website where I verify my NIP-05 address from used to go down all the time. Now if my site goes down, I can ask users to check my Nostr profile to know whether maintenance is being done. Using NIP-05 as a health status check for my web services
Seeing RFK speaking at #Bitcoin conference, reminds me that what we may like about anti-establishment candidates the most is that they are independent rather than group thinkers
