Slavery is stealing someone else’s labor. Forcing someone to work for you without payment is an obvious form of slavery, but there are less obvious forms, like debasing currency by money printing, as the Fed does. Or socializing losses while privatizing profits, as banks do. Jesus came to free us from slavery. First, our slavery to sin and death. But all other forms of slavery will go, too. #devotional

The food we eat is broken down by digestion and the nutrients absorbed to make our own body parts. Mentally and spiritually, we are what we consume, as well.
