entering into software late (just shy of 30) is often weird. friends groups and peers who have been in the game a while longer have better context for things in depth that I lack and experience shipping that I'll never get to. financially too, it's a different. i'm doing well enough but i didn't FANG/startup in my 20's and didn't vest a bunch (or at all). Anyway, just reflecting on the lower middle class life I'm living. Very thankful for it but it's often apparent to me how late to the game i am. I often ponder the best way to pivot from this lifestyle into a more self-sufficient lifestyle working my small plot of land.
