systemd is a monolithic init, consist of several components packed into one single init which could be controlled via systemctl and more. pros: it got it’s own set of tools it’s all in one solution it’s making things somewhat easy cons: it’s all in one solution, that may includes things that you don’t actually need if one of the component has a vulnerability hole, the rest are affected given the above info that i just wrote, if you ask me whenever it’s good or not, i would say neither. it will be me that gives you a question, “do you prefer AIO or one task per program?” the answer for that question will be the answer of your question. but remember, AiO also means some cost. like an AIO PC, It’s simple. Because everything is packed in one. But then it became a big trouble once the screen is broken & the replacement is no easy. The same applies to systemd too. Take the xz exploit as a example. One component of a monolithic program had the vulnerability, The entire system is affected In summary: Monoliths make recovery harder. Minimalism makes management harder.

Being an self taught programmer that learns 2 programming languages all by myself while creating 200 small projects is really an experience. Although i could make several unique projects, For example, Something like invidious, HTTP Live broadcast program, etc, It slowly makes me bored. With the current language that i currently focus with (go), It slowly makes me bored to write a program or even stopping in just 5% of making the WIP, especially when i need to write the struct at the very first place.

Most Linux beginners out here are struggling in one thing: Reading No matter how they read it, internally or saying it out, They still couldn't read everything in a instant.

I do not hate blind person, But i hate a program that forces me to add alt text on attachment / media that i provide in my post until i disable that feature. Questionable UX decision. Simply put, I do not like this feature. It drives people away when you turn this on by default. Disgusting.

Back before Mozilla ToS drama, I actually use Firefox for daily use, both on Mobile and Desktop. Since the ToS drama, I switched and never want to looked back, even on their forks.

Days ago, I purchased this dongle, Thanks to curiosity. About the networking performance, It's depending on band 3 (1800 MHz) that your provider serve. If it's bad, then so does to the result. For the software, It's powered by Android 4.4.4 (For real. The entire dongle is running Android in it), and the IMEI is actually coming from Redmi phone. Anyway, It worked. Could also plugged directly into PC as it uses RNDIS for that.
