Yes, we got swamped in AI hype. But with this I clearly dare say that the new google gemini pro 2.5 with deep research is a desk researcher and consultant in your pocket. This is the time where you underestimate the capacity and velocity of these tools. I did. Don’t sleep on it, do one query. It will be crucial for people to have, run and own their AI and data. But the frontier capabilities are proprietary now and it’s worth it to learn from it. Lets make very sure to build the open source and self-hosted AI tools.

@Fountain has a fantastic chance to grab some marketshare if they manage to get the experience to be fluent. Why? Because Spotify is dropping the ball completely. The app seems to be disintegrating by the day. Media doesn’t load, sudden cut offs, terrible lags. Unfortunately I regularly get the same problems with Fountain but they have a chance to go beat them at least for podcasts. Go for it guys!

More than a 100 new people connected to my little nostr profile. And the difference in quality of connections is astounding in this nostr group vs 100 ‘followers’ on x. Which for me always look like bots.

If there is an information war. And ‘this’ is the place where it plays out.. then we might just all be strolling into a warzone, daily, in our shorts and flip flops. Oblivious to whats going on around is. Nostriches much less so of course.
