As a thirty somethings dad I’m not afraid to admit that Olivia Rodrigo’s new album absolutely slaps

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there!
Today I’m incredibly grateful for fatherhood, and for my family. I don’t know how I got so lucky ❤️
“Freedom finally came on June 19, 1865, when some 2,000 Union troops arrived in Galveston Bay, Texas. The army announced that the more than 250,000 enslaved black people in the state, were free by executive decree.”
Happy Juneteenth! 🇺🇸

The tartan army are up to no good in Boston 🤣 🏴

I strongly believe like 80% of Americans agree on enough to keep our union and core values (life, liberty, property, bill of rights, markets, etc) alive.
It’s the 20% of the far left and far right that are trying to herd and gain momentum and should be shunned and denied that ability. Communists and fascists.
Every government on earth is hellbent on making anonymity impossible; a thing of the past
The people must say, No.
Just started listening to @Lyn Alden's The Stolguard Incident.
Can’t recommend it enough (and I can’t even say I read too much from/sci-fi). It’s been a nice break from my typical reading of nonfiction, politics, sociology, macro etc.
And man — @walker and @CARLA⚡️ do a phenomenal job, so fun.
It’s also left me inspired to (at some point!!) get to work on the novel I want to write. Alas, work and fam life is busy right now…but hopefully soon.

Strategy is trying their hardest to lose more and more Bitcoiners
Perhaps @ODELL is very on the money here

lol are we gonna get Hunter freaking Biden

Look — past selloffs and bear markets we’re used to are people crashing out on shitcoins and selling everything to hold cash
Now this is folks selling bitcoin to fund their bets in AI. Most will be caught in a bubble.
Anyway, hang tight.
don’t make me meme it

Paul is such a special man. So funny, witty, kind. Always has been. Loved this interview.
Bitcoin was the best version of peer to peer cash created after decades of cypherpunk experimentation.
Ethereum came along and ultimately their creators decided they didn’t believe in physics and were replicating the errors of the current system.
Then the rest of the shitcoin economy followed suit.
There is simply no other Bitcoin or peer to peer cash!
Why do people still call stablecoins “crypto”?
They’re dollar instruments, built to support the next evolution of dollar hegemony and in service to U.S. debt.
It’s a crumbling empire’s attempt at continued global influence and existence. And it’s working.
Being a bear is the default state of society today
Being bullish on life…
Now that’s a fucking revolutionary choice, and Bitcoiners do it best.
Bitcoin is permisonless money
Why the fuck are so many Bitcoiners asking permission all the time?
Once you work in Bitcoin, with Bitcoiners, a team of people passionate about changing the world and who can see fundamentally what’s broken in the world
It’s hard to comprehend working in fiat land
Like you just show up and do cool shit with people you don’t have to explain things to, because you all get it.
That’s what working at @My First Bitcoin feels like. It’s incredible.
Bitcoin isn’t just another investment in your portfolio
It’s your savings in a world of bullshit currency debasement and lies from politicians.
It’s money seperate from the state. That narrative is strong and never going away.
But of course you know this, nostr 🫡
Inflation and reckless government spending/debt are the biggest problems of our time (especially for the poor and working class) that everyone and their mother are so keen to blame on something/someone else.
See exhibit A) the $100 bill just won’t cut it anymore.
