Can we stop calling stablecoins crypto?
They’re 1:1 backed U.S. treasury, government surveillance instruments that have a bit less friction than bank wires.
Useful, especially in international contexts for those that want dollar denominated instruments, but they’re a far cry from any of the cypherpunk promises of cryptography and of course Bitcoin.
Once we actually get some positive legislation that actually allows people to freely use Bitcoin (no cap gains on transactions, real congressional protections for open source development and self-custody)
Then you’ll start having my attention. The rest is just crypto industry fluff

Keep pounding the pavement — people need good Bitcoin education on the fundamentals and why it’s important! For when they’re ready, even if they don’t pay attention right now.
