It’s entirely plausible and would make sense that the U.S. gov could be the last to buy bitcoin
Bitcoin is for those who need it most, as “fuck you” money.
Smaller nations seeking self-sovereignty from imperialism. Individuals seeking economic empowerment.

Current mood (Me when I see relentless shilling of Trump & co from Bitcoiners)

Do you think Americans even want democracy anymore?
I feel like most I talk to don’t care for it
Looks like I’m most likely moving to NH this year for a bit
Then house buying there in 2026
Live free or die. Also priced out of MA
I love how many folks pretend you can’t get positive change and momentum without bribing politicians and electing particular politicians, fundraising and donating to them.
“The civil rights movement wouldn’t have happened without those superPACs and big money dinners, thank god!”
It’s bullshit. Bitcoin should be articulated more as a freedom movement akin to the civil rights movement than a rich, insider lobbyist buying of politicians.
If we want to pursue freedom, that is…Bitcoin is resistance money for fucks sake!
I think Block is such an exemplary model for Bitcoin business engagement in the U.S.
Relentlessly building products for the people. Now incredible mining rigs.
Not wining and dining and shilling shitcoin politicians.
LFG 🔥 great work @jack and team. You’re doing incredible work for Bitcoin adoption and the movement
LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING MANY OF YALL I LOVE NYC AND PUBKEY
Probably gonna record a couple pod eps while there too so hit me up if you’re around.

Less trying to get politicians to make NGU 🤡
More building and fighting for global freedom with Bitcoin and freedom tech ✊🏻
Idk what it is but I probably won’t get excited about price again until at least $400k
Banning and freedoms via the private industry is America’s favorite export on citizens and non-citizens
I can’t wait to be rich enough to just do a nostr vlog in the woods that 5 people watch
Dems are being beat so bad constantly because the GOP led by Trump has embraced “you can just do things”
What would the Dem version of “you can just do things” look like?
Because currently the strongly worded letters and bitching on social media and MSNBC ain’t workin
Stocks are so high!
Bitcoin is so high and expensive!
Nah, the dollar keeps going down.
Nothing is overpriced. Most of all, bitcoin.
What really does it for me with Mamdani is the boots.
Nothing screams “comrade” more than those damn boots 😂

My 2 sats on this interview:
The interviewer asks about if DJT changed his opinion on Bitcoin because he now feels he can personally benefit?
I disagree with David. The answer is yes of course. He also saw the opportunity for votes that Dems dropped the ball on big time.
While MSM misses the mark on separating bitcoin and crypto still, it’s hard to deny the obvious that DJT and his family are personally benefiting and that it’s of course a conflict of interest with holding the highest office in the land that I wish would be separated. It would make the story we have to tell about Bitcoin and its amazing use-cases a lot easier!

THIS.
I hate when people say “Bitcoin is the first crypto”
Bitch, Bitcoin is the culmination of centuries of human ingenuity, birthed in the final 20 years of cypherpunk discovery. We won.

Good morning 🌞
It’s Sunday. While no longer Christian like my upbringing, I still hold true many of the teachings of Jesus. Loving your neighbor, fighting against injustice, doing the right, but often times hard, thing.
And Ubuntu. I am because we are. Be kind, do right ❤️
One of the coolest things about being a parent is you develop literal Spider-Man skills of catching your baby before their skull goes to slam against the floor, or if they try to throw their body into furniture, etc
