As you can see (and other videos and journalists confirm) the person is believed to be armed, but ICE remove the weapon, step back, and *then* assassinate him. No present danger and no police academy or training would recommend this approach
But DHS will keep saying officers feared for their life and the man was armed and dangerous 🙃

The U.S. needs that same focus and energy. It’s going to get worse.
We are battling fundamental first, second and fourth amendment rights issues and abuses from the government, with a fucking pissed off and armed citizenry.
I want a government and elected leaders that will
- uphold the constitution and bill of rights
- stop cracking down on civil liberties and increasing the surveillance state
But every year that goes by surveillance state increases and civil liberties protections decrease (left or right).

National politics and governance in America feels so incredible broken and playing politics.
However, one thing I would advise if you’re in the U.S. : get to know your local community political leaders and state reps. They are responsive, truly. Talk to them, meet with the, and bug the hell out of them if you feel something should change!
Starting small and local, you might actually make some damn change that can impact the bigger picture as well. Often times they don’t even hear from constituents because people focus on national politics and fighting on social media.
You get to a certain age where you just want peace and stability for your family and community.
Peaceful revolution sounds nice. Let’s opt in to that. And support and work with people who exhibit strength through love, peace, and compassion.
Those who boast of violence and lead on rage bait are often times the most weak and insecure individuals in the room.
