This was an interesting study looking at if coronary CTA in people 50-64 years old improved the prediction of primary cardiac events. This was an interesting study looked at if putting automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in private homes is effective and cost effective. They found it was effective in saving lives but not cost effective. The average cost of an AED can range between $1500-$2500 and it could last anywhere from 5 to 15 years.
