I’m commenting on this late because I thought it was obvious after the 2024 elections but maybe not - the rich & famous close friends of Diddy are considered bad people by swing voters because they didn’t speak out against Diddy like other rich & famous people i.e. Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow, etc. spoke out against Harvey Weinstein. The Diddy sexual assault/pedophile trials have been pushed nonstop to swing voters the last couple of years. The economy is the most important issue to swing voters, but one of the secondary issues is the optics of who candidates are bringing out on stage with them 🗳️

For the 2026 elections it would be better if moderate Democrats started doing “viral moments” for social media like the far right does. This should be similar to how reality show personalities do “viral moments”, politicians on the left need to do the same to get the algorithm to show them to voters on centralized social media and news sites. Otherwise what voters will see is what the far right billionaire bot armies - Thiel network, etc are pushing about left candidates.
