Light at the end of the tunnel? Actually it's a well and we want water, not light. We do have moisture, but not enough. Hole is currently 105'. We'll go to 120' and then go to exploration hand drill for 30' more if needed. These smaller casing (rings) are going down to reinforce about the last 15' they dug. Oops... I knew my new tool was sharp and just told myself to be careful. What i didn't realize was that the rubber handle was loose and allowed it to twist enough to catch my leg. Makes me think I need to do better with my medical. I have big bandages but not easily available. Luckily, I have workers here, and 1 ran me to the hospital. Nasty puncture wound that didn't want to stop bleeding. Several layers of stitches and all good. Emergency services no costs and 10 days of antibiotics and pain killers $10 usd. Who needs insurance? I was a trained EMT and mtn. rescuer, and the services were relatively fast, professional and clean. No complaints about Mexico medical services.

Couldn't sleep well, just being a lunatic🤣 Decided to take some pictures and learned something about these cameras. They catch much more light and therefore colors than the human eye. The dark photos are doctored to show what it look like to me. The daylight looking shots are untouched results🤔 Pretty amazing a machine can see so well relative to us. Oh yum. While I'm a carnivore got try what I grow😉 2nd generation, from 1 now have 8 plants growing and more planted. Plus, cantaloupe has many health benefits related to its antioxidant power, electrolytes, and water content. Mexicans also make melon waters of these, watermelon and honey dew. First light on my 66th rotation completed. Woohoo, I don't feel much different, but overall healthier than I was last year, which is good enough😉

Moringa aka Tree of life" producing seed pods in their first years. This plant can be food and medicine for all animals with many parts usable. Now to see if I can propagate second generation from these new seeds. This plant also can be cut and planted. Mayan beekeeping of the Melipona bees. Dona Neby not only explaing and showing the bees but gave me a special treatment for my arthritis. No stingers very friendly and they know right where the pain is. Dona Neby's daughter had what I have at 16. Hands twisted and couldn't walk. Over 10 years later and she looks fine n healthy now. Their vibration of the bees, sound waves as well as the bee propolis and honey are all medicinal according to the Maya. The oldest way is to hollow out logs for the brood. Today they use wooden boxes and harvest the honey with a syringe. Buenos días nostriches... Been traveling and got back Sunday during a light rainfall. We've had 3 hard dumps and several days of light soaking rains over the last 2 months. Breaking an almost 2 year drought! Ranch probably has the most biomass ive ever seen, at least in last 10 years. Well project going well🤣 65' approximately and a few more weeks we should close to water. We figure 90-120' maximum. #permaculture #homesteading #gardening #offgrid
