Personal Update
On March 7th, I awoke with a severe cold. Unfortunately, this caused me to become light-headed, and I eventually had a grand-mal seizure while I laying in my bed.
I personally do not remember much of what happened next.
I took a shower as I often do after a grand-mal as a way of calming and relaxing the tightened muscles. The combination of being sick and having had a seizure placed me in a vulnerable position. After stumbling back to my room and managing to get pants on, I began to have another grand-mal seizure.
My head hit many hard surfaces such as furniture and the floor multiple times at multiple angles. This led to large amounts of swelling for my head. I bit into my tongue and must have landed on my right cheek in such a way that led to large amounts of internal bleeding of the mouth as well.
According to my mother, when I came to I began vomiting. This is often an early sign of a serious concussion.
I have been in a serious concussion state since this episode. My memory of the past week and a half is blurry. If I have communicated with you I may have no memory of doing so. I apologize for this.
I have not been through this difficult an experience in many years. I have gotten quite "good" at recognizing when a seizure is about to occur and putting my self in a safe position and place before the seizure begins. Unfortunately, this was not one of those times.
I have tried minimizing my communication with people during this time. I will not be on @Corny Chat any time soon. I will be unable to go to my local @Central Pennsylvania Bitcoiners meetup this upcoming Thursday.
