Tryna ride out this week’s considerable stress…

Chopped cur tropical milkweed back to 10” above the ground (to prevent butterflies from laying their eggs on over-wintered plants that will freeze and kill the caterpillars), and brought the flowers in to capture seed.

FTR chickens love cabbage core and pomegranate rinds. These are my neighbor’s feather family, whom we have adopted. So they get many treats from our table.
