BCHNostr vs. Topics.cash Although both are BCH communities, they are quite different in how you use them. On BCHNostr, you can simply make a post and share whatever is on your mind. On Topics.cash, you need to think of a discussion topic that will catch people’s interest and encourage them to join the conversation. What I like about both is that they give BCH supporters different ways to connect. BCHNostr is more casual and spontaneous, while Topics.cash encourages deeper discussions and different points of view. The best part is that they both help keep the BCH community active. If you genuinely support BCH, it’s hard not to enjoy being part of both communities because each one offers something different. Instead of choosing one over the other, I think they can actually complement each other. image

I actually started thinking about this goal because of the people in my GC. Seeing some of them genuinely trying to learn more about BCH opened my eyes to something. What made me happy was seeing them talk about saving up so they could eventually afford membership and support content creators and community activities. I don’t know if they’ll actually reach that goal, but the fact that they’re already thinking about ways to contribute really makes me happy. I’ve invited quite a lot of people, but after inviting them, it’s their choice whether they want to explore the platform, stay, or leave. What makes me even happier is seeing some of the people I invited actually grow here. They learned to enjoy the community, tip other users, explore different communities, and participate even when there aren’t many rewards. Some don’t post every day, and that’s completely fine. What matters to me is that they’re slowly learning, finding their own reasons to stay, and becoming part of the community in their own way. And to contribute to the community, I’ve also set a small goal for myself. Whenever I earn, I’ll set aside a portion for tipping here on BCHNostr, so the BCH can keep circulating through tips. I was thinking, what if we all had one separate wallet specifically for giving and receiving tips within BCHNostr? It wouldn’t be for withdrawals.. just for circulating BCH among community members. Then we could have another wallet or separate budget for funds we actually want to withdraw. Does that make sense? I’m just wondering if something like this could help keep the tips circulating within our community. image

Why Is the BCH Community Still Struggling to Grow? I’ve been thinking about this lately. There are many BCH supporters who use their own money to tip and support users, so why is the BCH community still having a hard time growing? Could one reason be that some users become too focused on the tips? Rewards are helpful because they attract new people, especially those who are new to crypto. But after they join, we also need to help them understand why they are receiving BCH, what BCH is, and what they can actually do with it. There’s nothing wrong with converting BCH and spending it. The problem is when users only see BCH as free money to receive and cash out, without learning its value as fast, low cost digital cash. Rewards should be more than just an incentive. They can be a way to introduce people to BCH and encourage them to explore and use it. New users should understand why they’re receiving the reward, what it’s for, and how they can use it. Education can turn someone who joined for rewards into someone who genuinely understands and supports BCH. image

I've been looking for a memory foam pillow, and this brand keeps getting recommended. We actually have these that my sibling gave us as a gift, one hotdog pillow and mini rectangle size, and it's so comfortable to use. The only downside is that it's a bit small. I might check out Surplus store to see if they have a standard size version. Hopefully, it's affordable if they do! image

I’m organizing the room right now, and I feel like we have too much stuff again. I think it’s time to let go of some things or throw away items we no longer need. I don’t like a crowded space because it makes the room look messy and unorganized, especially the cabinets. If we don’t use or wear something anymore, I remove it. Even if I make an effort to clean everyday the room becomes messy again when the people I live with come home. Sometimes I think… maybe I should just remove them instead. 😂 image

I’ve noticed that over the past few days, there have been fewer posts compared to the time when a tipper was actively supporting the community. It’s true.. tips are motivating. But let’s not forget something important.. during those days when tips were flowing, every single tip came from the tipper’s own pocket. They were never obligated to do that. They chose to support the community out of generosity, and that deserves our appreciation and respect. What makes BCHNostr special isn’t just the tips. It’s the people.. people who believe in Bitcoin Cash (BCH) . Out of all the social media platforms I’ve used, BCHNostr stands out because it has far less toxicity. It’s simple to use, welcoming, and filled with supportive people who genuinely want to see others grow. To everyone who continues using the app, whether you receive tips or not, thank you. Your presence keeps this community alive. And to everyone I’ve invited who is still active today, I’m proud of you. Thank you for staying and believing in what this community can become. Let’s keep inviting new people. Let’s show them that there is a crypto community where kindness, respect, and encouragement still exist.. a community of people who believe in BCH and in helping one another. A place where everyone has a voice, friendships are built, and every contribution matters. The future of this community doesn’t depend on one tipper.. it depends on all of us. Every post, every comment, every invitation, and every act of kindness helps build something bigger. Let’s keep the fire burning. Let’s continue creating, supporting, and inspiring one another. Together, we can make BCHNostr stronger than ever. image

Did you know this orchid is called the Dancing Lady Orchid? It really looks like a tiny woman dancing in a beautiful dress. It's even more stunning in person than in photos. One of my dreams is to grow a garden full of beautiful flowers like this someday. image

Super kilig! I've been waiting so long for Shop for Killers Season 2, and it's finally here! The wait was definitely worth it. The effects are amazing, and I just finished watching Episode 1. I can't wait for Episode 2 tomorrow! Haha! image

I'm finally cooking Pinaupuang Manok (also called Pinadapang Manok/ Flattened chicken in my version 😅). Traditionally, this dish is cooked with the chicken standing upright over a can, making it look like it's sitting. Since I don't have a pot tall enough for that, I had to lay the chicken flat instead. 😂 It takes about 2 hours to cook, so it should be ready before 6 PM just in time for an early dinner. I'm using only a regular pot and a gas stove, starting with medium heat and then lowering it to a gentle simmer. It's been such a long time since I last had Pinaupuang Manok, so I'm definitely going to enjoy it! image

I suddenly felt pressured by the comments earlier! 😄 I changed my plan and decided to cook "Pinadapang Manok" instead. I also learned a new technique called the brining method, so I want to give it a try. Instead of the traditional way, I blended the lemongrass with water and other seasonings, then soaked the chicken in the brine for about 8 hours. We'll see later if it really makes the meat more flavorful. I hope this method works! image
