A seeder is a small program you run on your own computer or home server, or one run by someone you trust. It keeps your phones in sync even when they aren't online at the same time. It's off unless you turn it on, and you'll find it in Settings under Your data. - Choose for each partner share whether it uses your seeder, so a partner can catch up even when your phone is offline. - Choose whether your seeder shows PearPetal's name, so you can tell what it's holding. Improvements - The seeder's list of shares shows who each one is with and when it started, the same way the Share tab does. - Stop using a seeder at any time. Your data is removed from it after a 7-day wait. Security - A seeder holds only an encrypted copy and can never read your cycle log or what you share. Before you add one, PearPetal shows exactly what its owner can see.

Your folders are the same on all your devices and come back with your recovery phrase - Click cells while typing a formula. A peer-to-peer parental control app What's new: New Features - Bedtime extensions: when bedtime blocks the phone, your child can ask for more time for all their apps at once. One approval unlocks them until the extra time runs out. Apps you've blocked stay blocked. - Lock or pause every child at once: with two or more children, the Dashboard has "Lock all children" and "Pause all children" buttons. - See when an offline child was last seen: a child's card shows how long ago their device was last connected. - Add a note when you say no: when you turn down a time request, you can add a short message such as "homework first". - Your child sees your answers: the child's requests list now shows past answers, including any note you added. - Clock tricks no longer work on Android: if a child changes the date or time by hand, their apps stay blocked until they turn automatic date and time back on. Calls, texts and Settings still work. Improvements - The parent Settings page is grouped into clear sections, and every setting saves as soon as you change it. - Computers now drop programs that were uninstalled from the app list, and send daily totals so usage trends fill in. - You're told when extra time you granted never reached your child's device. Bug Fixes - Changing time zones on a computer no longer resets the daily screen-time allowance. - Fixed repeated "PearGuard was stopped" alerts when a child's device reconnects. - Fixed a case where a child's device stopped hearing from a parent that was still connected. Performance - PearGuard wakes up less in the background and sends less data, which saves battery on both phones. - The parent app does less work when checking on each child, so it stays quicker as the app list grows.

If you lose your phone or reinstall the app, restore it and everything comes back, including your place in each circle. - **Automatic backup.** Pick a folder once and PearCircle keeps your backup up to date there. Choose a folder that syncs to another device or the cloud and your circles are safe even if your phone is lost. - **Restore from the welcome screen.** Starting fresh on a new phone? Tap "Restore from a backup" and pick up where you left off. - **Co-owners.** A circle's owner can make other members co-owners. Co-owners can rename, recreate or delete the circle and remove members, so the circle keeps running even if the owner loses their phone. - **Hide old entries.** If someone reinstalled the app and now shows up twice, any member can hide the old entry once it hasn't been seen for 30 days. If that person turns out to still be around, they reappear on their own. - **Any member can export a circle.** Save a circle's name and Places to a file, optionally with a password, and import it later to start a fresh copy that you own. ## Improvements - **Simpler Settings.** Settings is now seven sections instead of nine. What's new: ### Bug Fixes - **Repeating reminders now repeat.** If you set a reminder on an item that repeats every day, week or month, it used to go off only once. After that the item said "That time has already passed" and stayed quiet. Now the reminder goes off every time the item comes back, at the same time you picked. Reminders you already set start working again on their own, so there is nothing to redo. - **Checking off a chore early skips that day's reminder, and only that one.** Finish tonight's chore before its reminder and tonight stays quiet. Tomorrow's reminder still goes off as usual. - **Reminders keep coming even if you don't open the app.** PearList now sets up about a week of reminders in advance, so a daily reminder doesn't stop because the app stayed closed for a few days. - **The app no longer closes right after you open it on iOS 27.**

What's new: ### New Features - **Add a photo to any item.** Tap the camera square next to an item's name to take a photo or choose one you already have. It's handy for showing exactly which brand to buy, especially when the label is in a language you don't read. Everyone in the space sees it, as a small picture in the list, and can open it full screen and zoom in to read the label. - **Photos are there when you're in the shop.** Each phone keeps its own copy, so the photo is on your phone even if the phone that took it is switched off or out of range. - **Photos don't fill up your phone.** When an item or list is deleted, or you leave a space, its photos are removed from every phone. You can see how much space photos use in Settings, under Lists & aisles. ### Bug Fixes - **Picking a profile picture no longer fails if you take your time.** If you spent more than about 20 seconds choosing a picture, PearList could reload and lose it. It now waits for you.
