GM Nostr. European guy here who likes American people and still wants us to be friends and allies. Could you tell me what the hell this statement is supposed to mean?? Is this how most of you feel?

I've been 3d printing for all the christmas gifts this year. I found on printables a really cool toy named Dummy 13 which is a price winning print design and well known in the printing community. Here are so pics of the standard size in many colours and one giant one with an axe. #3dprinting

Viking helmet.. fun print and easy too. #3dprinting

Fellow 3d printer people. This picture shows why I kept getting z-axis homing errors. Has this happened to any of you? 😅 #3dprinting

I got an airbrush 3 weeks ago. I havent tested it until now (3d printing got all my attention). I did a test to get a feel for how it works. I'm posting the test piece which I outlined with black pen, something I like to do. It looks weird and abstract. I also printed an ergonomic handle for the brush.

2-axis gimbal for camera. By 52barmaley on thingiverse. Two SG90 microservos control it. The camera isn't mounted so I placed a face there.
Ɓónus AK47 . Stupid pop-art shit by me. #art#artstr

Made this painting for my friend who runs 3 tourist shops in Reykjavík. We call them puffin shops. My friend sells puffins in his shops although he finds it a bit silly. With this piece I want to remind him of that in a funny way.

This is a bidirectional crank and slider mechanism I designed and printed. Uses a microservo and controlled by arduino uno R4. I am working on making a model plane, this is one part of it and I'm happy it works now since this has taken many hours and revisions to work.
I need to improve my documentation and will be posting more as this project progresses (*if anyone cares that is)

I am now in the East of Iceland helping put up an exhibition, Sigurður Ámundason is the artist. We are staying at this old beautiful house which functions as an artist residency. I found this "code of conduct" paper posted in the shared kitchen area and I had to share it, I find it so funny 😂.
Basically they could have saved lots of ink by cutting the message down to one sentence 🤡. It seems bigotry is so rampant in our society we need at least five bullet points before we remind people of disposing of the trash properly.

Honeycomb lampshade (not my design, from printables )
This is my largest 3d print up until now. Print time was 32 hours 😆 Filament material was transparent/clear PETG. The lights are made with 9x9 neopixel matrix LED and arduino uno R4. I have yet to make the base for the lamp, I think a wooden base would be nice.

Here is a bacteriophage virus model (model by Jpxfrd on printables.com) My wife needs some models for a kids science day visit at her work (she works in a biotechnology lab).
The T4 bacteriophage is in my opinion the coolest looking virus, it looks like a spider or like Rocky from Project Hail Mary. The T4 phage is used as a vector in cloning and biotech recombination methods. Medical research has also taken an intrest in the phage to use as "antibiotic" because it targets bacteria.
