Physician, woodworker, artist and bitcoiner. I have been painting and drawing since I was a child and will continue to do so.
I missed something. Is something going on with nostr devs in Europe? Getting targeted or prosecuted? What did I miss?
what can a dancer, grafiti artist, pediatrician and a doctor/redneck come up with? If you give people the freedom to just paint whatever, there is always an "output".. doesn't matter if it's messy, it's still POW and a memory 🫡 nostr:npub1dnp8vwzhp8p65uvfmqfesw5s7kvpkushy6v7r6kf8k07cxfze39qxmrqtznostr:npub1h8pnrstk5n9qrvpr3z2qg4aefy52mdup52vn8n7sflvg2nh3ccxqdnw23u #art
My friend and artist Agustin Romero from Montevideo, Uruguay. Setting up some paintings by him in Edinborg Cultural House in Ísafjörður, Iceland. *He doesn't have a Nostr account yet, but I'm slowly trying to convince him to get one and start posting his work. Nostr needs art and maybe he can get a few zaps 🤷‍♂️... who knows.
Pop-up studio in a Yurt.. Agustin Romero and JKG collaborating on a painting. #art
I want to use the opportunity here on nostr to show a little side gig I have been working on with some great dutch bitcoiners. They needed posters for their regular meetups and I wanted to get better at making them. I am grateful for the opportunity and connections I’m making with people in the bitcoin community, although I didn’t study Graphic design in school, I still like it. These are only 4 of 6 posters I need to make. If anyone needs something like this done for an event/meetup or such, please contact me. I really enjoy doing this on the side. My regular job is nothing like this and I feel a strong need to counteract the negarives of that job with something creative. #art #bitcoin #posterart
Archive note #2 - Two more oil paintings on canvas by Guðmundur Thoroddsen, Unkown titles but the first one is from 1986, the other one probably too. Some lithography prints from 1984-85 (4 pieces). #paintings #art #G.Thoroddsen
I would like to use nostr as an art archive. This year I found some oil paintings on canvas wrapped together in a huge roll with tape around it. Some of my father’s paintings from 1986-88. I had never seen them before and want now to keep them in digital form (I had to brush up a few of them digitally first, since my dad didn’t really store his paintings properly).. Guðmundur Thoroddsen was his name. He was born on the 17.09.1952 and he died in on the 25.05.1996 at 44. Some of his works are quite mythical, something I’m trying to understand better. Let me know if you would like to see more of his works and I will try my best to add to this archive.
