Those who would trade liberty for security deserve neither.
In the last 10โ€“15 years, the number of armed conflicts in the world has doubled. And a painful question arises: are we humans becoming more civilized or more cruel? Wars used to be fronts between states. Today, we increasingly see civil wars, proxy conflicts fueled by great powers, asymmetric battles with non-state actors, and drones, cyberattacks, and disinformation have also arrived on the battlefield. The consequences? - Millions of displaced people, new waves of refugees - Children growing up without school and stability - Weak states turning into fertile ground for extremism - Global shocks in energy, food, and supply chains Yet, in the same period, the world has become richer, more educated, and with less poverty. By all accounts, it should be more peaceful. But it is not. Conflicts are growing. We have more career diplomats than ever. But are they carrying the flags of peace or dissent? If education, growth and prosperity do not lead us to peace โ€“ what does? #peace #war #geopolitics #future #diplomacy #world image
If you earn it, they tax it. If you spend it, they tax it. If you invest it, they tax it. If you build it, they tax it. If you live in it, they tax it. If you drive it, they tax it. If you eat it, they tax it. If you give it away, they tax it. THEN... they WASTE it. Study #Bitcoin
Lord, I thank You for my job, but if winning the lottery is in Your plans, I am here and ready. Amen. GM image
Hypocrisy and duplicity are the main characteristics of the left. When they are in the minority, they talk about human rights and freedoms, about pluralism. They demand this for themselves and accuse the rest of society of intolerance and repression. They are the victims. For everyone else, different rules apply. Their dissenters have no rights or freedoms, their media has no room for different voices, and when they gain power, then the real repression and suppression of dissenters begins. Pathetic.
The first time I realized that something was wrong with this system we live in. I was 9 years old when the war started in my country. I remember watching on TV how our bishop blessed the tanks going to the battlefield. Everyone was proud except me. I wondered how God (because the bishop is His representative) could allow such a thing. My elders told me not to ask stupid questions. I think that was the beginning of me critically thinking about many things. Strange how some random situation defines you ๐Ÿค”
I love the people on Nostr. They live like no one would for 10 years so they can live like no one can for the rest of there lives. GM beautiful Nostriches! Just keep going ๐Ÿ’ช
Total control is on the way - every click, every search will carry your identity linked to an official document approved by the state and will be able to be linked to you. A step towards digital totalitarianism, sold again under the pretext of "child protection". Namely, Australia is introducing surveillance of internet search engines right after Christmas. From December 27, 2025, a new law will come into force there that introduces control over the internet. Search engines, and later applications, messages and the like, will have to use so-called "age verification technologies" which include, among other things, verification of ID via photo, facial recognition and age analysis, credit card checks, digital ID cards, AI analysis of user data. Anyone who does not comply with the rules risks fines of up to no less than $ 49.5 million per violation. image

I feel like when Judas betrayed Jesus. Today was the first time I told someone that they were right and that #Bitcoin is a scam. I think I've reached a point where I don't feel like explaining anything to anyone. image
