Those who would trade liberty for security deserve neither.
So many years of schooling and no one teaches us how to be happy, independent, free, and to question everything.
Unfortunately, I say unfortunately because there have always been a lot of lunatics among the extreme right, its growth in Europe is unstoppable. The toxic alliance between the left and Islamists in big cities has enraged people to the point that they believe everything these people say. There are hundreds of videos in which the English, in almost commando actions, try to hang English flags in English cities. They do it out of fear of being noticed and in complete ecstasy after they succeed. I try to imagine that you are not allowed to hang a flag in your city. How would you feel? Well, some ultranationalists would probably do well in the elections or gather a huge crowd in the streets. Nationalism is a classically liberal idea, just like capitalism, and as such is based on reason, both in political practice and in human nature. Defending it to the native population and calling it fascism, while tolerating it, and even encouraging it, among immigrants, is one of the stupidest ideas in human history. #Europe #Islamists #leftist #Nationalism #liberals #capitalism #EU #islam #muslims #fascism #immigrants image
The man in this photo is Grigori Perelman — one of the greatest mathematicians of our time. The photo was taken in the St. Petersburg metro. Many would walk past him without even looking at him. But behind the uncombed hair and modest clothes lies a brilliant mind — the man who solved the legendary Poincaré conjecture, one of the most difficult mathematical problems in history, a problem that had not been solved for over 100 years. In 2006, Perelman was awarded a million-dollar prize from the Clay Mathematics Institute for his solution — and he turned it down. His response? “If the solution is correct, I don’t need any further recognition.” Later, seeing how it worked, he retired from academia altogether, rejecting fame, money, and attention, saying he didn’t want to be exposed like an animal in a zoo. In a world where success is often measured by wealth and popularity, he chose truth, simplicity, and silence. In Russia, young people wear T-shirts with his image and the inscription: "You can't buy everything." - True greatness doesn't always wear expensive clothes. - Not every genius needs applause. - Sometimes the loudest minds are the quietest souls. image
Down syndrome is named after John Langdon Down, a British physician who, in 1866, not only scientifically described the condition, but also decided to look at it from a humane perspective. At that time, people with intellectual disabilities were being abandoned, punished, and confined to inhumane institutions. Down decided to change things. When he became director of Earlswood, he banned corporal punishment, introduced hygiene and educational activities, and offered opportunities for crafts, gardening, and even art and music. He did not see them as “medical cases,” but as people. One of his most revolutionary moves was to photograph his patients in a dignified manner—in elegant clothes and proud poses—to restore to them the beauty and identity that society had denied them. In 1868, he bought a mansion and turned it into Normansfield—not a madhouse, but a real home. There, people with Down syndrome could live, learn, and develop their talents in a peaceful environment. That place still exists today as The Langdon Down Centre, and it houses the theatre he founded – a symbol of his vision. That’s why the name “Down syndrome” is not a derogatory one: it is named after a doctor who saw people, not labels. His story reminds us that true revolution is not scientific or technical – it happens when we learn to recognize the dignity of others. When we decide to see differently. image
Classical liberals are the only ones who understand that the state is a malignant organism on the body of society and that is why it should be systematically limited, controlled and cut whenever it starts to grow uncontrollably. It is your right to be ignorant and not understand this, but that does not protect you from the consequences. So now we have a new regulation being pushed by the Supreme Soviet in Brussels, which supposedly protects women from lower wages compared to men. Capitalism or the free market does not recognize gender, race and nation. If you need a top expert or worker, you don't give a damn about these ephemeral things. You simply do not have the luxury of bothering with trifles. If you work for a company that does this, quit IMMEDIATELY! This means that you work for a business entity that is not in the real market. Regardless of the form of ownership, it is a business that owes its survival to some budget, political protection and connections, crime, monopoly and similar anti-market ways of doing business. The smarter ones among you now understand that the state has a hand in all of the above. Either by doing or not doing. Even if it is a nominally private company, given that the vast majority of money flows into is controlled by the state, which protects part of the real sector, such quasi-entrepreneurs have the luxury of not having to hire the best that is offered to them, and then they discriminate based on gender, nation, religion, race, you name it. In other words, as it always happens, the state creates a problem and then supposedly offers us a "magical" solution. It wouldn't be so catastrophic if it didn't slow down and complicate the business of companies that don't have time to deal with nonsense, which makes us uncompetitive compared to the rest of the world. And in addition, it always encourages the employment of new bureaucrats and crooks who flourish and impose new regulations on the same real sector. #liberalism #EU #regulations #Capitalism #business #bureaucracy image

As simple as that, the property I own was either bought for heavily taxed income or inherited from my family, who also bought it with heavily taxed income, levying any tax on the property is double taxing, i.e. pure and inacceptable theft... image
There's nothing more beautiful than those early mornings when your little one curls up on the couch. Still warm from sleep, in pajamas and with messy hair. The world is quiet. The coffee is brewing. And for a moment – everything slows down. In those small, ordinary moments – the magic of fatherhood is felt most strongly. Life is beautiful 😊 GM
Your child didn't come into the world to fulfill your dreams. He came to discover his own. You won't always understand his choices, you won't always like it. But that's the beauty of it – that you can witness someone you love most learning to be themselves. GM
