Some interesting stats. Right now I have channels with 366 peers in the Lightning Network. Out of this number : • 116 have a Twitter(X) account • 105 have a Telegram account • 78 have a Nostr account ...and... • 193 (52%) doesn't have any contact information at all - at least I couldn't find it. Please be sure to provide some contact information on the Amboss (https://amboss.space/) and/or LN+ (https://lightningnetwork.plus/) websites! It's not about chatting or something, it's about the ability to contact you in case of problems with the node or other emergency situations, which can save quite a few of your channels. No FCs tonight. Great morning! 😊 By the way, restarting the node a few blocks before the HTLC expiration helped prevent two FCs already. Two channels were saved in this way. There are many more cases where even this did not help, but... Slightly changed fee policy. Adapting to the new conditions and looking for a balance between traffic and risks. ] Nevertheless even with this, I still have few more FCs, that happened when both nodes were ok and online, and my peer and I just sat together and looked at the expiring HTLC block-by-block, not being able to do anything. Tried many things. Examining the logs. Will try to provide more details soon. Some of node operators prefer to set fee walls to avoid any HTLCs these days (use rejecthtlc=true in lnd.conf if you are LND instead!). We've lived through a lot, will survive this as well.

Just a small experiment with fees right now. Don't worry, everything will be back to normal soon. Sunny Sarah ☀️ always has as low fees as possible, most often even 0 💪
