A technology or protocol being old doesn’t inherently mean it’s bad or insecure. This is a mistake I see people working in cybersecurity make all the time. Sometimes, the limitations of an older protocol can actually be an advantage because it significantly reduces attack surface and unknowns. Decades of security research on a protocol have a sort of Lindy effect.
It’s not even dark yet and one of my neighbors already had to have an ambulance come out 🤦🏻‍♂️
Every time my nest thermostat asks me to set the temp higher because it’s “peak” energy demand, I turn the temperature down at least 3 more degrees.
For those that are running multi-sig setups, what kinds of locations are you using to store your keys? How far apart geographically are you seperating? Are you asking friends/family to store them? Using storage units or safety deposit boxes? I am having a hard time figuring out the best way to do it. #asknostr
I really don’t buy the idea that you must be super focused on your competitors and do what they do. I also don’t buy that we’re all competing all the time. I just want to be the best version of myself, even if that means not doing what they’re doing.
My neighborhood goes hard af with fireworks for 4th of July. It feels like walking through a war zone by 10pm through 4 am most times. Generally, I like fireworks but the older I get, the more ridiculous it is to me. My neighbor brags to me about how he’s spent $5k on fireworks. A large contingent of neighbors throw a fit when anyone suggests even simple things like a curfew so we can all sleep. I find it incredibly childish. They argue “but muh freedom” but they’ll never be caught protesting income tax or any other actual freedom infringement. Idk, maybe I’m just old and grouchy 🤷
