You can dislike something and complain about it, or you can just do something about it. Still some kinks to work out but here's a slightly improved Primal web experience. Still relies on the caching service but I'll complain about that whole thing later 🤓

New Bloom update is live! This one is mostly user experience improvements. - Folder structure is now hydrated from NIP-94 tags so the UI stays consistent from any machine you log in from. - Choosing Upload from inside a folder will automatically set that folder as the upload location for the queued file. - Updated upload page to give batch upload summaries, batch options to upload all to folder and mark all private. - After an upload is successful, the user will be taken back to the page from which they uploaded. - Added refresh status button to Relays page. - Moved usage breakdown in Servers page to a collapsible row and added a default server indicator. - Redesigned Settings page and moved Relays and Servers pages to settings (shared a screenshot last night so not doing it again). - Added ability to switch between Dark/Light mode. - Updated README installation instructions Live site:

Working on some much needed updates to the upload page in Bloom. Screenshot is early days, will post an update once I'm happy with the UI. Coming soon: 1. Upload summary for batch uploads 2. Display what folder you are uploading to 3. If the upload button is pressed from inside a folder, use that folder as the default upload destination (and change in edit metadata) 4. Progress bar for batch uploads with optional advanced view. 5. When upload completes, take user back to folder they uploaded from instead of back to home.

Alright, time to fork primal-server and give it proper support for kind 1059 so i can get some NIP-17 DMs in Primal.

I have decided to leave my fiat job. I don't know what I plan to do next nor what my timeframe looks like but I know that saving in Bitcoin has changed my life and this wouldn't be possible without it. It seems cliché to say, but stay humble and stack sats. There really is no second best.
