If you don't believe it or don't get it, I don't have the time to try to convince you, sorry.
My favorite newsletter covers Trusted Relay Assertions this week (the draft NIP I wrote which powers trustedrelays.xyz) as well as a deep dive into NIP-11 and NIP-66 (keys to relay trust scores) and I am over the fucking moon. Thanks, folks!

Just added relay pinning to trustedrelays.xyz...no need to sign in, but pinning NIP-65 relays might come soon.

Nostr relies on about 1000 relays run by around 450 pubkeys...we need more
Added some automated relays insights to relay details to provide some context as to what a relay could be used to. Could probably dive a bit deeper but heading in the right direction. @hodlbod curious if this is what you were referring to the other day?

Added switch_relays method to Signet 1.8.1 following a PR to NIP-46. This is a daemon only update for those of your using Signet.

Integrated operator WoT scores into Trusted Relays, did some additional UI cleanup, and added a new Trend column to relay lists that will surface 7d score trends. Next step will be adding more fine-grained metrics so users can see what kinds a relay accepts, what are they good for (signing requests/outbox/groups/etc).

Trusted Relays is back up with some performance improvements, a beefier server, and additional threat mitigation. Currently, working on some trend and comparative analysis stuff in duckDB to make metrics even more useful.

I need to get back to updating nostr-hypermedia 🤓

Some idiot is running a DDOS on trustrelays.xyz so taking the server down for a couple of days while I do some mitigation. In the meantime, you can still grab relay assertions by querying kind 30385 events.
If you don't have a bidet, what are you even doing with your life?
Whoever is doing this, take your bullshit to X or somewhere that cares. Thanks.

Wish Nostr had more #watchstr content 😓
Coming this week:
1. Update to Trusted Relays to fix geographic bias on latency metrics (we need more NIP-66 monitors folks!)
2 NIP-26 event signing delegation support for Signet (fingers crossed)
3. Bunker support for Zap Store (if I get the time)
Just upgraded relay.nip46.com to a higher memory instance to improve performance. Now to do some tweaks to the relay implementation to kick things up a notch. If you want to run your own NIP-46 relay, repo link below. Trusted Relays is at least proving useful for me already :-)

Officially launching Trusted Relays, my proof-of-concept implementation of Trusted Relay Assertions (kind 30385). Take a look, and let me know what you think. Tons of work to do still but it works.
