Today is the day that Sparrow 2.4.0 was released and it supports Trezor Safe 7.
Just saying. Not priced in.

Ja mám signál vždy, lebo Personal Paraguay má roamingové zmluvy s Orange Slovensko, Slovak Telekom aj O2 Slovakia (a podobne v Česku).
Sranda to začne byť, keď to všetko dokážeš kombinovať.
Devs getting fired for refusing to use AI. Other devs shipping a project a week. Wrote down what I'm seeing — and why "it's just hype" doesn't match reality anymore.

At #39c3 in Hamburg I connected to the local MeshCore network called HanseMesh. I've been fascinated by what Hanseatic League created in 13th to 15th-ish century. Decentralized loose association of traders, outposts, city states, ports, etc to facilitate trade.
I just realized they're recreating a form of this in the mesh network, also decentralized. And not only in topology of the network, but for the involvement.
I've been interacting with Slovak MeshCore network, tried it yesterday from Austria, there's Hungary and hopefully soon Czech republic through the bridge. In Bratislava there is basically no area that is not well covered. I can use it by putting a node in my pocket, everywhere. In a tram, inside of most buildings, etc.
Are we creating Austria-Hungary? At least sort of, not out of nostalgia, that sucks. We've been separated by the iron curtain for decades, but it's an area that used to be integrated. Not as decentralized as the Hanse, but still working together.
Vienna is not as well covered as Bratislava yet. In Slovakia people are literally building repeaters all the time, it's a matter of challenge, a bit of prestige (who's repeater transmitted my message?).
What is fascinating though is that it's a bit like building a mobile operator. I always thought that it is a bit impossible task. Cover all the places, with radio, that requires skill. Meshcore is like that but punk. There's no central plan - you can build your repeater anywhere you want. You won't get money. But you'll get advice (I turned off my repeater after realizing it's in area so well covered I'm basically spamming the band with repeats that don't add anything). Most of it is solar+ battery. And it all emerges from people in a loose association with each other. A bit like the Hanseatic League.
Beautiful.
Today is the day to remember Alan Turing and what the government did to him after he helped them win WW2.
I think the grand unifying theory of everything is computation theory based. Of course I'm guilty of bias, because that's what I understand most.
From Wolfram's physics project, to understanding markets (and especially impossibility of effective central planning due to Wolfram's principle of computational irreducibility), to mind and consciousness, ...
I'm not saying current computational theory explains everything, rather that in order to explain everything explainable (and especially in finding limits of what is and is not explainable), it will all have strong computational theory basis. We know a lot of computation. And computation is about the dynamics of systems. It's a theory of change and what change is possible. And how fast.
If you want to understand the world on a deep level, study informatics and computation. In addition to your field. But study it deeply. You're not aiming for knowing what it is about but in the details, because they matter.
I'm looking forward to see Saylor-the-priest doing the bearmarket edition of his mass.
I predict we will hold to hope, maybe a short meditation and then he'll tell us to borrow 1M from our uncle and HODL.
If you are stressed about the bear market, you would benefit from the stimulation of the vagus nerve. I made an open-source desktop and Android sw to control the device, so you don't have to sign-up, get locked out when the server or your connection is off. It is easy, now with better UI and works better on background (but for Android, still keep it in the foreground, but it would not stop the stimulation now).
Vagus nerve stimulation is one of the best longevity hacks, helps your body heal by reducing chronic stress.

Signal-summarizer got an upgrade. Better clustering algorithm(s). And it works much better with more recent models.
It is not purely for Signal, if you can get the group messages in a database, it can create you a summary, with links what was discussed, etc.

Tasks:
1. reverse engineering of non open source chrome extension doing advanced zero knowledge math (PeerAuth)
2. understanding and auditing solidity smart contracts and attestations (related to PeerAuth)
Kimi-cli with Kimi 2.5 surprised me, it even found something that no other model noticed.
Note - this is not coding, it wrote a paper, based on how it understood and reverse engineered code.

Many of you know I am working on a novel with cypherpunk and lunarpunk themes. Still some work to do before it is finished, but what I know - it is already amazing, it gives chills even to myself when I read it back. And it will have amazing graphics design.
I made a teaser with some quotes. The graphics changes every minute.
