Grandparents are sometimes the most adorable people walking the planet. Yesterday one turned and looked at me with the biggest grin and said “bitcoin’s gone up two dollars”.
It came out of nowhere. They meant dollars and not percentages, it was more than a price comparison, they don’t spend in dollars and their grandkids are about 30% down in fiat terms on the little stash of Satoshi’s they’ve been gifted.
